LONDON, June 30: The British current account deficit widened in the first three months of the year compared with the figure for the previous quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
The shortfall expanded to 5.8 billion pounds (8.63 billion euros, 10.41 billion dollars) in the three months to March, compared with 4.1 billion pounds for the previous quarter, National Statistics said.—AFP
