ISLAMABAD May 3: Fresh efforts are being made to bring Senator Maulana Samiul Haq, chief of his own faction of JUI, back into MMA’ fold. A delegation of JUI-S is reported to have met MNA Qari Gul Rahman and requested him to work for a patch-up between Maulana Sami and the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leadership. Qari Rahman who has been attending MMA’s supreme council meetings in place of Maulana Sami said he would soon meet Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Maulana Fazlur Rahman.
