ISLAMABAD, May 3: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) on Tuesday announced plans to provide more incentives to its employees, says a press release. It said promotion from BPS-1 to BPS-15 would be made according to the length of service or where there was acute stagnation in promotion.

In case of unavailability of post in a particular cadre, promotion would be made in the next scale with full financial benefits and the employee shall remain posted in the same position till a vacancy is available.

The management also asked workers to give the names of two representatives of their respective unions for inclusion in the committee that would decide the pay scales, leave encashment and medical facilities.

The statement said the PTCL management had directed its regional general managers to promote the officials from BPS-1 to 15 on availability of vacancies without referring the cases to the headquarters.— Our Reporter
