Four killed in Kandhkot

JACOBABAD, May 3: Four people were killed a in an armed attack in the Haibat Khan Bajkani village in Kandhkot on Tuesday. Police sources said a group of Sabzoi tribesmen attacked Golo tribesmen with Kalashnikov and shot dead three persons Nihal Khan, Masti Khan, Edan Khan while two others, Saindad and Zahid Khan, were injured when Golo tribesmen were busy in work.

The injured were shifted to Kandhkot hospital where Saindad succumbed to his injures.

The culprits vanished from the scene after committing the crime.

Police sources said the reason behind the incident was an old enmity.

The Golo tribesmen staged demonstration against the armed attack and staged a sit-in on the National Highway suspending the vehicular traffic for about four hours.

Later, DPO Ferozuddin Abbasi reached there and assured the arrest the culprits within 24 hours and, on his assurance, the protesters dispersed.

A-section police have registered an FIR against eighteen people of the Sabzoi tribe namely Ali Nawaz, Raheem Bux, Ghulam Rasool, Jagan, Suleman, Ghulam Hyder, Wahid Bux and others.
