MIRPURKHAS, April 28: A meeting of the district chapter of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz held on Thursday condemned an attack on party chairman Bashir Qureshi in Sann.

District JSQM President Faqir Qaisar presided over the meeting which was attended by office-bearers and workers of the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Qaisar and Manzoor Memon accused the establishment of hatching conspiracies against Sindh and its nationalist leaders. They said such conspiracies could not suppress their voice for rights of the province.

GIRL ASSAULTED: A teenaged girl was criminally assaulted by two people in an agricultural field near Kak Bungalow in the Satellite Town police station jurisdiction on Thursday.

The girl was working in the field when Sajjad Rehman Rajput and Hakim Ali Laghari allegedly assaulted her.

The Satellite Town police registered a case against the accused under section 10-4 of the Zina Hudood Ordinance on the complaint of a brother of the victim.—Correspondent
