Singapore investors

LAHORE, April 27: Punjab Industries Minister Ajmal Cheema said on Wednesday that the Singapore business community had assured investment in telecommunication, information technology, pharmaceutical and engineering sectors in Pakistan. In a statement issued here on his return from a four-day visit to Singapore, the minister said a delegation of investors would visit Pakistan shortly to explore opportunities for investment and launching joint ventures.

He said he had invited Singapore entrepreneurs to invest in the Sundar Industrial Estate where a separate block had been reserved for foreign investors. —Reporter
