LAHORE, April 26: Devastating bowling by medium-pacer Sajid Shah and later an unfinished opening stand between Imran Farhat and Shahnawaz Malik propelled Lahore Lions to a crushing 10-wicket win over Hyderabad Hawks in the Pool ‘A’ Twenty20 Cup match at the LCCA ground on Tuesday.
Sajid claimed four for 20 in his quota of four overs as the Hawks were restricted to 115 for nine in 20 overs.
Imran and Shahnawaz then reeled off the runs in 12.3 overs without being separated. Shahnawaz scored a 47-ball 61 with three sixes and six fours. The left-handed Imran made 44 off 29 balls with two sixes and four fours.
