Anti-polio drive in N. Areas

GILGIT, April 26: Over 162,000 children in all the six districts of the Northern Areas will be administered anti-polio drops under the expanded programme of immunization (EPI). The programme manager, EPI, Dr Bismillah, said that the anti-polio campaign would last for three days in which the children below five years would be given the drops for which they had constituted 1,298 teams comprising 2,596 doctors and paramedics in addition to 821 mobile teams.—Correspondent
