KARACHI, April 26: The University of Karachi on Tuesday announced that enrolment forms and fee for BCS, BSSE, BBA, MBA, PGD, MCS and MPA for the academic session 2004-5, would be accepted up to May 5 with a Rs1,000 late fee.
According to a KU notification, enrolment fee from students of the public sector educational institutions would be charged at the rate of Rs550, from old students of private sector institutions at the rate of Rs3,500 and from fresh candidates of the private sector institutes at the rate of Rs5,000 for two-year programme, Rs7,000 for three-year programme and Rs9,000 for four-years.
Enrolment applications forms can be obtained from the NBP KU branch for Rs10 each while candidates were directed to submit their enrolment forms along with original marks sheets of the last exam or copy of certificate, copy of Matric or equivalence certificate, original enrolment card, copies of last Proforma and NIC.
Meanwhile, KU exams department announced that BSc (Pass) first and second year Biochemistry practical exams 2004 for leftover candidates would be held at the department of Biochemistry from May 3.
According to the schedule of practical exams, practical-I will be held on May 5, practical-II on May 6, practical-III on May 3 and practical-IV on May 4.—PPI
