ISLAMABAD, April 24: The top army brass will meet at the General Headquarters (GHQ) from Monday to discuss matters relating to internal and external security and review regional developments, especially those pertaining to the Pakistan-India peace process.
The two-day conference would be followed by a three-day board meeting for promotion of lieutenant-colonels to full colonels and colonels to brigadiers. Some 100 colonels are likely to be promoted to brigadiers in the three-day board meeting from 27-29.
