MINGORA, April 24: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society has set up a branch in Swat. A PRCS statement on Sunday said that the decision to establish the branch had been taken after several meetings in which representatives of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the PRCS and the provincial government.

PRCS provincial chairman Dr Sher Mohammad Khan also announced names of members for the district executive council.

They included Lt-Col (retd) Dr Mohammad Munir Khan, Lt-Col (retd) Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Sher Afzal Khan Barioti, Syed Ali Hazrat Bacha, Dr Ibrahim Salim, Anwar Khan, Matiullah Khan, Sher Afzal Khan, Mohammad Farid Khan, Mian Said Umer Nasih, Sher Bahadur Khan, Farid Khan, Riaz Ahmad Khan and Mohammad Saleem Khan.
