LAHORE, April 24: The Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan will hold a public meeting at the Minar-i-Pakistan on April 29 against “anti-masses” policies of rulers. A decision to this effect was announced at a press conference by party chief Ibtesam Elahi Zaheer here on Sunday.
The meeting would give a comprehensive line of action against these polices, he said.
He said the rulers’ policies had also endangered solidarity and survival of the country as the government was openly deviating from a national stance on important issues of Kashmir and nuclear.
Alleging that foreign interference in national affairs had increased to a critical level, he regretted that western values were being imposed on Muslims just to appease “foreign masters”.
He said if the MMA leadership contacted them for joining the alliance, the Jamiat would give it a positive response.
