Shells fired from Afghan border area

By Pazir Gul

MIRANSHAH (North Waziristan), April 23: Artillery shells fired from across the border landed in the North Waziristan Agency on Saturday. Officials said that about six mortar shells fired from the other side of the border had hit hilltops near Lowara Mandi, on Saturday. However, no casualties or damages were reported.

They said the coalition forces had launched an operation near the border after suspected Talibans fired rockets and missiles on a military camp in the Orgun area of Afghanistan.
