ISLAMABAD, April 23: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will inaugurate a two-day Pakistan Development Forum (PDF)-2005 here at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat on April 25. Officials told APP that the PDF annual event was being hosted by the Economic Affairs Division in coordination with the World Bank.

The PDF is a unique opportunity for Pakistan to share with its development partners its policies, reform agenda and initiatives in areas such as poverty alleviation, human resource development, governance and infrastructure development, they added.

The theme for the current year is “Sustaining growth and improving quality of life”. Over 200 delegates, both local and foreign, representing a wide range of organizations from development partners and NGOs will participate in the forum on April 25-26.
