Fourth round completed: Bridge

KARACHI, April 17: Data Steel won all four matches by scoring 88 victory points and remained unbeaten after the completion of two more rounds on Sunday in the Super Marathon Bridge Tournament, which is currently underway at Aslam Bridge Hall.

The team comprising star players of Pakistan, Masud Saleem pairing with Tariq Rasheed Khan and very experienced pair of Rashidul Ghazi and Rashid Jafer when faced Attackers in the third round did not get any hurdles in adding 23-7 V.P.

In the next match they faced ladies national team, Bridgettes and added further 23-7 to their score.

Cavaliers came into the limelight after winning their third round match against Winsome 25-5, later outpacing Pak Oils 20-10.

Tony Mehmood pairing with Saleem Ahmed showed excellent display of their game, got a good support from their partners Saeed Ansari, Khawar Ansari and M.A Ansari.

After being defeated by Data Steel, Attackers made several efforts to remain in contention. They shocked the national team, Candyland in the fourth round and defeated them 24-06. Anwer Rafiq Hingora, Zahur Kazmi and S M Ozair gave impressive performance.

Havoc, having Shariq Hussain, Imran Jaka, Mohsin Chandna, Tehseen Gheewala and Zaeem Lufti kept their winning form. They beat Alliance 17-13 in the third round and later Solx 19-11.
