Monster putt puts Hanson in front: Polo
CADIZ (Spain), April 16: A monster 35-foot putt at the last gave Sweden’s Peter Hanson a one-shot lead at the midway point of the Spanish Open here on Friday.
Hanson, one of seven overnight leaders, shot a second round 68 to give him a six under par total of 138 and a slender edge over his compatriot Peter Gustafsson.

CLARKE DOMINATES
HILTON HEAD ISLAND (South Carolina): Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke fired his second straight 65 on Friday for a commanding six-shot lead at the halfway stage of The Heritage.
Clarke had a 36-hole total of 12-under 130, half a dozen strokes in front of American Patrick Sheehan and Australian Peter Lonard, whose hot putter deserted him.
Lonard followed his first-round 62 - a nine-under effort that included 11 birdies — with seven bogeys in a three-over 74. The Australian is even with Sheehan, who carded a one-under 70.
