Spurious beverages seized
LAHORE, April 16: The City District Government Lahore food squad seized some 840 bottles of spurious beverages and 650 litres of syrup during a raid on an indigenous bottling plant in Sherakot here on Saturday.
The squad confiscated the bottling plant and wasted the syrup. A case was registered against plant owners under the provisions of the Pure Food Ordinance. —Reporter
