Two brothers, sister killed over land

SARGODHA, April 15: Two brothers and their sister were shot dead while another was injured by their eight relatives over a land dispute on Friday in Ahli Kaisopur village, some 50kms from here.

Muhammad Aslam had a dispute with Amjad and his other relatives over the distribution of their ancestral land. On Friday, when Aslam was coming out from the village mosque after offering his Fajr prayers, accused Amjad, Khizar Hayat, Mazhar, Muhammad Khan, Allah Baksh, Azhar, Mazhar and their another accomplice opened fire on him, killing him instantly.

Later, the assailants barged into Aslam’s house where they shot dead his brother Ramzan. The intruders also opened fire on their sisters Perveen and Bashiran when they came for the rescue of their brother. Resultantly, Perveen died on the spot while Bashiran sustained injuries. She was rushed to Bhera RHC in critical condition.

Bhera police have registered a case against the absconding killers.
