KARACHI: Policeman injured in firing

KARACHI, April 10: A police constable was shot at and injured by three persons outside the British Consulate in Clifton on Saturday. The incident occurred at one of the most secured locations in the city where protective concrete walls are in place. Head constable Gulzar Ahmad, who suffered a bullet wound in his leg, was taken to a private healthcare facility where he is stated to be in a stable condition. The three suspects were arrested from the place of the incident and were shifted to an undisclosed location.—Staff Reporter
