NA session on Monday

ISLAMABAD, April 9: The 24th session of the National Assembly has been summoned for Monday (April 11) here at 4pm.

Earlier, the 23rd session of the lower house was prorogued on March 24, 2005, after about two weeks’ proceedings.

An official press release issued here said: “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of the Article 54 of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the president is pleased to summon the National Assembly to meet in the Parliament building, Islamabad, on Monday (April 11) at 4 pm.”
