NAWABSHAH, April 6: Activists of the People’s Party Parliamentarians held protests in different parts of Sindh on Wednesday against division of Hyderabad and arrest of party MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio. In Nawabshah, party workers took out a procession and held a demonstration outside the press club. District PPP general secretary Imdad Dhamrah alleged that the Sindh government had divided Hyderabad under a conspiracy.

District party women’s wing president Qamarunnisa Dhamrah accused the Sindh government of political victimization.

The protesters later proceeded towards the court where they expressed support to the arrested MPA.

DADU: PPP activists observed a black day here.

They took out a procession in the Dadu town which marched through different roads.

SANGHAR: Activists of the PPP observed a token hunger strike in Khipro.

They said Hyderabad had not been divided on administrative grounds, but to please a particular party. They also criticized the arrest of MPA Chandio.

KHAIRPUR: The PPP observed a black day in the district.

Party activists took out a procession from the Jilani House which marched through the Kutchehry Road, Nasim Kharal Road, Qazi Mohalla, Mallah Chowk and reached at the press club.

JACOBABAD: The PPP took out a procession, led by MNA Aijaz Khan Jakhrani, from the party office. The protesters marched through main roads and later reached at the press club.

Party activists also took out a procession in Garhi Khero.

SHIKARPUR: The PPP observed a black day here.

Party workers took out a procession from the Mirani House which terminated outside the press club.
