LAHORE, Nov 3: Indian football team will visit Pakistan in February next year to play a three match series against the national side. This was stated by Arshad Khan Lodhi, secretary, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) while talking to newsmen during his visit to the under construction FIFA Football House on Wednesday.

"We will soon announce activity of programme to prepare our team to take on the Indian team's strong challenging in a manner to produce encouraging results", he said.

He said the visit of the Indian team would better friendly ties besides promoting football in the region.

The official said PFF was taking every measure to promote the game on all levels in the country and it has launched a comprehensive activity plan to achieve the desired results.

"Our so far progress has proved that we have put the game on the right track and we plan to take more steps to make football a game of masses to get due recognition at international level", he added.

Lodhi said with the completion of FIFA Football House the game would get a basic and modern institution to help groom the players under one roof with the provision of latest facilities.

"Even games ruling body, FIFA has started recognising that PFF is making all out efforts for the development of the game and it has given sufficient financial estancia to us to build the football house and to launch other development programmes", he concluded.-APP
