SRINAGAR, Nov 1: Twenty-one civilians were injured on Monday when rebels hurled a grenade at a security force patrol in a busy market and missed, police said.
Five of those injured in the attack at Shopian, 50km south of Srinagar, were in critical condition, police said.
"The rebels were aiming for a security patrol but missed their target," a police official, told AFP. "The market was packed with people when the grenade went off."--AFP
