Four more enter mainstream of ITF Jr event

KARACHI, Oct 3: Four more boys entered the mainstream of the ITF juniors (world ranking) tennis championship which begins on the Karachi Gymkhana hard courts from Monday at 9.00 a.m.
Daniyal Alvi brushed aside S.M. Naeem 6-2,6-1, Abbas Syed Raza breezed past Mustafa Jamal 6-1, 6-1, Changez Afridi overcame Zohair Syed Raza and Ahmad Hassan beat Mohammad Abbas 6-1, 6-1.
These four youngsters will now join the other 28 players in the championship. Thailand's Kirati Siributwong is the top seed, followed by Indians Jitin Bishnoi, Vijit Sehgal and Kinshuk Sharma.
MONDAY'S ORDER OF PLAY:
At 9.00 a.m: Kirati Siributwong (Thailand) v/s Daniyal Alvi (Pakistan), Jitin Bishinoi (India) v/s Ali Amir Khan (Pakistan), Danish Ahmad (Pakistan) v/s Sangwan Shiva (India), Hassan Ahmed (Pakistan) v/s Rajkanwar Singh (India).
At 10.00 a.m: Jahangir Rashid (Pakistan) v/s Nyi Nyi Tun (Myanmar), Kinshuk Sarma (India) v/s Rizwan Khan (Pakistan), Gursher Harika (India) v/s Amir Dewan (Pakistan), Neil Rajpal (Canada) v/s Changez Afridi (Pakistan).
At 11.00 a.m: Mushtaq Nasir (Pakistan) v/s Zaw Kyaw Naing (Myanmar), Mohammad Haris Iltifat (Pakistan) v/s Mubashir Afridi (Pakistan), Tqanveer Ashiq (Pakistan) v/s Vijit Sehgal (India), Peerakit Siributwong (Thailand) v/s Ali Abdullah (Pakistan).
At 1.00 p.m: Mohsin Ali Bhagat (Pakistan) v/s Usman Ejaz (Pakistan), Ali Asghar Bandeali (Pakistan) v/s Yasir Khan, Raza S. Abbas (Pakistan) v/s Jawad Ghardezi (Pakistan) and Mateen Arif v/s Ghulam Abbas Panju (Pakistan).
