PESHAWAR, Sept 7: Security forces on Tuesday arrested a Saudi national suspected of links with Al Qaeda, officials said. Intelligence officials identified the suspect only as Abdullah and said he gave up without resistance during a raid near the city of Peshawar , in the Khyber tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
They said he had lived in the area for many years and that he had been arrested once before, in the late 1990s. But the officials did not make clear whether they saw him as an important figure tied to Al Qaeda. -Reuters
