Ban on Qazi's entry into tribal areas condemned

By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, July 27: The MMA parliamentary party in the Punjab Assembly has condemned the ban on entry of alliance chief Qazi Husain Ahmad into tribal areas. It also denounced the restriction imposed by the government on Jamaat-i-Islami public meetings in the tribal areas.

Parliamentary leader Asghar Ali Gujar, deputy leader Waseem Akhtar and others deplored the fact that the rulers had made the tribal region a no-go area for the elected patriotic leadership of the country, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. On the other hand, American agencies FBI and CIA were free to move about and violate privacy of citizens.
