Foster arriving on June 24

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, June 9: Australian bowling coach Daryl Foster arrives in Lahore on June 24 to train aspiring young cricketers at the National Cricket Academy. Foster, who had settled the problem of bowling action of paceman Shoaib Akhtar, will be on a two-week visit.

During his stay he will impart training in the Graduation Class at the NCA, starting from June 28. Foster is likely to coach Pakistani bowlers if there will be a training camp in progress during his visit.

The national camp was to be held from June 20 to prepare the team for the Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka in July. But the date has been cancelled because the names of probables could not be discussed with captain Inzamamul Haq who is out of the country.
