LAHORE, June 6: Pakistan and Indian hockey federations have finalised the dates of eight-match home and away series in September and October. India start their tour from Sept 24 and will play the opener at Karachi on Sept 25.

The second match is scheduled to be held in Quetta on Sept 27, third in Peshawar on Sept 29 and the fourth in Lahore on Oct 1. Both teams leave for India on Oct 2 to play the second leg of the series.

The first match in India will be played on Oct 4 in Bangalore, the second in New Delhi on Oct 6, third in Chandigarh on Oct 8 and the last in Bhopal on Oct 10. During the series, four former Indian stars will be invited to see the matches in Pakistan. Similarly, same number of Pakistani stalwarts will be the guest of India.
