HYDERABAD, April 25: The former secretary of Hyderabad Division Cricket Association (HDCA), Abdul Majeed Khan, demanded on Sunday restoration of Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) constitution and an end to running it on ad hoc basis.
He criticised PCB chief executive, Ramiz Raja urging president Pervez Musharraf, who is also chief patron of the board, to stop PCB chairman from taking extra-constitutional steps.
Demanding that the PCB general council should be restored, he termed the board's ad hoc committee a complete failure over past four years and alleged the board's performance had started worsening since Ramiz was appointed its chief executive. The team's disappointing play against India is only the latest proof of chief executive's inefficiency, he added.
