JAKARTA, April 24: Thirty-eight people died when a landslide poured trees, rocks and mud onto a passenger bus in Indonesia's West Sumatra province, police said. "One died in hospital," Police said.
Rescuers were trying to free several people still trapped in the bus perched on the edge of a ravine in Pasaman district.
A nurse at the hospital in Lubuksikaping, the district capital, told AFP that 41 people had died.
