Scientists to access all country labs

Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, April 24: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has started a programme under which scientists and researchers will have access to the equipment available at any sophisticated research organization of the country.

Under this programme titled 'Access to Scientific Instrumentation', all types of equipment, machines and instruments installed anywhere in the country can be easily accessed by the scientists community, an official statement said.

This programme also aims at providing a source of funding to the institutions providing analytical services. Through this programme the researchers, scientists and engineers working in public-sector universities and institutions of higher learning would have an easy access to scientific instrumentation facilities free of cost.
