Chinese police team due today

ISLAMABAD, April 13: A high-level delegation of 'Chinese People's Armed Police' is arriving in Islamabad on Wednesday for a week-long visit to discuss security issues and pay homage to soldiers killed during the construction of Karakuram Highway , a source in the interior ministry told Dawn on Tuesday.

The seven-member delegation headed by Lt Gen Sui Shengwu, deputy commissar of Chinese People's Armed Police will meet interior minister, secretary interior, and home secretaries of different provinces to discuss security matters.

The delegation will share experiences and means of maintaining state security and social stability, the source said. It will call on director general Rangers, home secretary Sindh and other officials.
