ISLAMABAD, April 6: Mansoor Zaman and Farrukh Zaman led Pakistan to the SAF Games gold as they routed India 2-0 in the men's team squash final at the Roshan Khan courts on Tuesday.

It was quite easy for the home players, with Farrukh first knocking out Manish Chotrani 9-3, 9-1, 9-0 in quick time and then Mansoor outplaying Ritwik Bhattacharya 9-0, 9-1, 9-6. Mansoor was also the winner of the individual crown earlier on where he had beaten Shahid Zaman in a tough five-game contest.

However, the women's title was won by India who edged the hosts 2-1. Ace player Joshna Chinapa and Mekhla Subedar, both scored victories over their respective rivals after Alisha Mashruwala had lost the opener to Pakistan's Maria Toor 9-4, 9-5, 3-9, 8-10, 2-9. Joshna walloped Aliya Sarfraz 9-1, 9-0, 9-2 and Mekhla brushed aside Muqaddas Ashraf 9-0, 9-1, 9-1 to complete victory for India.
