KARACHI, March 28: Karachi Building Control Authority has asked builders to construct ramps for disabled people in all residential projects.

The width of the ramp should be at least six feet, said a letter / notice issued on orders of Brig (retd) S.A. Nasir, chief controller of the KBCA.

In another directive by the chief controller also made parking facility compulsory in all public commercial building having a total area of 500 square yards. The directives had been issued under the Sindh Building Control Ordinance, 1979, the KBCA's announcement said. - APP
