Doctors leave for New Delhi

LAHORE, Feb 22: A delegation of doctors, headed by provincial parliamentary health secretary Dr Farzana Nazeer Bajwa, left for New Delhi on Sunday to attend a conference.

Dr Bajwa has been invited as chief guest of the world health care conference. The 14-member delegation included cardiac surgeon Jawad Sajid, Zafarul Hasan, Riaz Warraich, Shabana Faisal, C.B. Husain, Zahid Mohyuddin and Safia Javed.

Meanwhile, a 130-member team of Hindu pilgrims also left for India through the Wagah border. The pilgrims had visited Katas in Chakwal to offer religious rites there after a break of almost three years.
