PESHAWAR: Abducted boy recovered

PESHAWAR, Feb 8: The political authorities in Jamrud in Khyber Agency have recovered a 16-year-old boy from the kidnappers and arrested a man from Qadam village late on Saturday night.
Naseem, son of Farooq, a resident of Faqirabad, was kidnapped when he was on his way home from school a few days before Eidul Azha, officials in the political administration said.
The kidnappers had demanded ransom for the release, but the parents were unable to arrange the demanded amount, they said. The family later found out where the boy was being held and informed the political administration.
On Saturday night, the khasadar force raided Qadam village and recovered Naseem. One of the accused Malang was arrested, but their accomplices would be netted soon, the officials said.
KILLED: Israr, son of Manzoor, a resident of Choli village in Mathra locality, was killed early on Sunday when he was on his way go to the fields.
Separately, a body of unidentified person was found in the limits of East-Cantt police station on Sunday. Some unidentified persons killed the man with sharp-edge object and escaped, the police officials said. Police have sent the body to the mortuary of Khyber Medical College and started a investigation.
