Clerks demand salary raise

By Our Correspondent

MINGORA, Dec 1: The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) has criticized the government for raising the salaries of the elected representatives and ignoring the low-paid people.

Talking to reporters here on Monday, APCA leader Haji Fazal Mabood Khan said that the high prices of daily use commodities made it difficult for the people to make the two ends meet.

He demanded that the present government should announce a relief package for the low-paid government employees.

He criticized the government for increasing the petroleum products prices.

Meanwhile, the office-bearers of the transporters’ association also criticized the government for increasing the prices of the petroleum products. They said that they were being compelled to increase the transport fares.
