Shoaib spins Godhra to victory

KARACHI, Nov 3: Fine left-arm leg-spin bowling by Shoaib Ibrahim, helped Godhra Sports beat Prince Gymkhana by seven wickets in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan festival cricket league played on Monday.

Prince Gymkhana were bowled out for 110 runs in 21.4 overs, with Shoaib Ibrahim four for 11, Javaid Ishaque two for four, Nadeem Sheikh two for 20 and Shehzad Majeed two for 32, instrumental in causing the batting debacle.

Kausar Khan (25) and Syed Akhtar Khan (22), were the only two batsmen that faced the bowling attack with confidence.

Godhra Sports reached the target, scoring 111 for the loss three wickets. Suleman Ahmed had a useful knock of 49. Kausar Khan picked up two wickets for 21 runs.
