Hill Park on winning spree

KARACHI, Nov 3: Continuing on their winning spree, Hill Park CC humbled Sadiq Sports by 77 runs in the Eighth Danish Trophy Ramazan cricket tournament played on Monday at the Hill Park ground.

Having first use of the wicket after winning the toss, the home side accumulated 221 runs for the loss of four wickets in their 20 allotted overs with Harris Jawed (77), Mohammad Khursheed (36) and Zafar Iqbal (34) among the runs.

Rajab Ali two for 28 and Naveed Hyder two for 33 bowled well for the visitors.

Sadiq Sports were dismissed for 145 runs. Waqar Zubair top scored with 41 runs. Rajab Ali chipped in with 29 and Musheer Alam 25.

Tuesday fixture: Afzal Sports v Danish Sports at the KGA ground.
