Ronaldo on target for Real, Juve and Milan share spoils
LONDON, Nov 3: A superb performance from World Player of the Year Ronaldo helped Real Madrid to the top of the Primera Liga at the weekend, while Italian leaders AC Milan and Juventus shared the spoils in their Serie A clash.
Real’s lead would be shortlived, however, if Valencia beat Real Mallorca by a four-goal margin in Sunday’s late game. With Europe’s elite preparing for this week’s round of Champions League matches, teams were looking for strong performances ahead of some tricky encounters.
