UK inflation
LONDON, Oct 14: British underlying inflation eased to an annual rate of 2.8pc in Sept from 2.9pc in August, but remained above the official target for the 11th straight month, official figures showed on Tuesday.
Underlying prices, excluding the volatile effects of home-loan repayments, rose by 0.5pc in Sept from the previous month, the National Statistics office said.—AFP
