Sindh women’s swimming from today

KARACHI, Oct 9: The two-day Sindh swimming championship will be held at Karachi Parsi Institute (KPI) from Saturday.

Swimmers from 19 clubs, school and institute will be taking part in the event including last championship winner Karachi Grammar School and runners-up Karachi Club.

Other teams featuring in the competition are:

Beach Luxury, Sunset Club, KPI, Dua School, Foundation Public School, City School, Beaconhouse, Bayview Academy, Education Bay, St.J oseph’s Convent School, PALPA, Salvation Army School, DHA Secondary, Karachi Japanese School, Baharia School, Institute of Business Administration.

Competition will be held in 10, 12, 14, 16 years and open group in 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 meter free style, 50, 100, 200, meter breaststroke, 50, 100, 200 backstroke, 25, 50, 100, 200 meter butterfly, 100, 200 meeter individual medley, 100 and 200 freestyle relay and 100, 200 meter medley relay.—APP
