PESHAWAR, Sept 27: The National Database and Registration Authority has initiated a probe after seizing hundreds of applications filed by tribesmen carrying fake stamps and signatures of political authorities, a press statement says.
The statement, released on Saturday by Nadra’s provincial headquarters, stated that a special team had found applications while checking the Cantonment area Swift Centre’s record.
Meanwhile, Nadra directed tribal applicants to submit applications at centres located in their areas, adding that no application would be entertained at other centres.—Correspondent
