KARACHI, Aug 13: A rare photograph of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan and other leaders of the Pakistan movement has been selected as the object of the month at the National Museum, says a press release.
The photograph was taken at the wedding of Maryam E.H. Jaffer and Nooruddin Hasan Faruqi at 2 Windsor Palace, New Delhi, on April 6, 1947.

EXHIBITION: The National Museum of Pakistan has put on display a collection of photographs and documents of national heroes, freedom fighters and other prominent political Muslim personalities who fought against British rulers for the creation of an independent homeland for the Muslims of South Asia, says a press release.
“The exhibition’s main attractions are such objects as one photograph of Khan Liaquat Ali Khan, the first prime minister of Pakistan, with Nawab Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Vaqar-ul-Mulk, taken during their stay at Oxford University in 1920; and another group photograph of Nawab Vaqar-ul-Mulk, Nawab Mohsin-ul-Mulk, Shamsul Ulema Deputy Nazir Ahmad, Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali, Maulana Shibli Nomani and Dr Arnold.”
