Chinese team visits OGDCL

ISLAMABAD, July 25: A four-member Chinese delegation led by Lu Jing, president of Daqing Petroleum Engineering International, China, visited Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) on Thursday to explore the possibility of oil and gas related business.

The delegation had a meeting with the managing director, executive directors and senior management of OGDCL. A brief presentation was made on OGDCL activities and achievements following the introductory session.

The Chinese delegation showed keen interest in upgradation of oilfields, on-shore and off-shore oil and gas exploration. The delegation discussed the possibilities of Chinese technical support in the oil and gas sector in Pakistan.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited managing director Najam Kamal Haider briefed the delegation about the company’s ongoing and future projects.
