KARACHI: Course at PCSIR inaugurated

KARACHI, June 12: Pakistan was capable of catering to the needs of world trade, Shazaed Hasan Pervez, Secretary, ministry of science and technology, said on Wednesday.

In future, not only the quality of a product would be important, but a competitive price of the product would also have noticeable effect, he said, while speaking at inaugural ceremony of a five-day training course on laboratory quality management, based on ISO-17025 at the PCSIR Laboratories.

The course has been organized by the Fuel Research Centre, PCSIR, in collaboration with the Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC), at Karachi, and is being attended by the participants from cement, pharmaceutical, environment and petroleum industries.—PPI
