France wants Lebanon, Syria in roadmap
PARIS, June 1: An eventual peace in the Middle East should see both Lebanon and Syria associated with the elaboration and application of the Middle East roadmap, say French authorities who are preparing France’s participation in negotiations with regard to implementation of the roadmap.
Speaking at the daily press briefing of the Quai d’Orsay, official foreign policy spokesman Bernard Valero said that France was intent on bringing in Lebanon and Syria into the peace process.
