Fernandes rules out early talks

NEW DELHI, May 23: India will hold peace talks with Pakistan not in the near future, India’s defence minister was quoted as saying on Friday.

“When we reach the time for talks (they) will be held, but it is not very close,” the Press Trust of India quoted George Fernandes as saying.—AP
