DERA ISMAIL KHAN, May 3: The Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited (PTCL) would install seven new digital exchanges in the northern region NTR-II in the current fiscal year.

General Manager NTR-II Azad Bakht Khan revealed this on Saturday, while talking to reporters at the PTCL’s urgent telephone installation camp set up at the north circular road. Director PTCL Khalid Khan was also present on the occasion.

Azad Bakht Khan said the new digital exchanges which were commissioned would be installed at Tanai and Spin areas of South Waziristan Agency, Gomal Bazar and Ramak of Dera Ismail Khan district, Narmikhel of Bannu district and Kachikhel and Jarma in Kohat district.

The general manager said that there was total 9000 new telephone connection target for this year which would be achieved.

He said that the NTR-II has recovered around 98 per cent revenue target of total Rs810 million.
