RAWALPINDI, April 26: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali attended a meeting at the General Headquarters here on Saturday.

According to an ISPR Press release, the meeting reviewed internal security situation in the country with particular reference to Balochistan.

The participants of the meeting were briefed about the law and order situation, measures taken for the security of natural gas pipelines and other matters pertaining to internal security.

The president and the prime minister, while appreciating the steps taken so far, exhorted the authorities concerned to ensure the safety and security of the people and country’s assets.

Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, Federal Ministers for Interior, Petroleum and Natural Resources, Vice Chief of Army Staff and other senior civil and military officers attended the meeting.
